At D+H Group, we provide our team members a comprehensive internal training program, supported by the latest methodologies, technology, tools, and professional development opportunities, thereby ensuring members are well equipped to provide the highest level of service to our clients.
Perhaps our most significant internal training course for the management team is our weekly technical meeting. This meeting assembles the entire management team of the Firm (managers, senior managers and partners) each week for a two-hour session on technical changes that impact our profession. Presentation topics typically include updates to tax, and auditing and accounting rules and regulations. The presentations are led by our leadership team allowing all our leaders the opportunity to improve their presentation skills. Where we need outside expertise, we invite qualified specialists to make topical presentations. Also, our entire management team receives a weekly circulating file, with topics that may be of interest, or current events that may impact the profession. Qualified accountants also attend a weekly technical meeting to augment their continued professional development.
We provide access to external training through courses offered by ICABC and other reputable organizations. We support continued professional development for our management team and qualified accountants through courses and conferences applicable to your career path.
