Gord provides audit and assurance services to Canadian publicly-listed and privately-held businesses and his clients include start-up and developing businesses in the technology and natural resource exploration sectors.  Gord has helped guide a number of clients through their initial public offerings and reverse takeover transactions.  Gord’s clients include businesses listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange.

Gord is also active within the CA profession.  Gord is currently a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (“AASB”) of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.  Gord has also volunteered extensively with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (“ICABC”) , including service on committees responsible for practice inspection and for responding to proposed changes in accounting and auditing standards, as well as serving as a instructor and speaker.  Gord was awarded the ICABC’s Early Achievement Award in 2004.

Gord joined D&H Group LLP as an articling student in 1995, graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1996 and was admitted as a CA in 1998.  Gord became a principal of the firm in 2004.  Gord is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

Gordon Cummings of D+H Group Chartered Accountants

Gordon was named as the Early Achievement Award Winner in 2004 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and was named on the Institute of Chartered Accountants President’s Honour Roll for earning one of the ten highest marks in British Columbia on the 1996 Uniform Final Exam.
