Michael Nakanishi BComm, CA
Principal

Michael graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1978. In 1980, he qualified as a chartered accountant in Vancouver. In 1981, Michael started to specialize in the area of corporate and personal tax planning. In 1985, he transferred to Tokyo, Japan for a year with an international accounting firm. Michael has completed the CICA In-depth tax course.

Michael returned to public practice in Vancouver in 1986 and joined D+H Group LLP in 1988. He is responsible for providing accounting, assurance, taxation services and business advisory services. Michael has a special interest in servicing First Nations, real estate businesses, clients with Japanese investments in Canada, and the local Canadian Japanese community.
