Simon received his Diploma of Technology in Financial Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1998 and went on to graduate from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2000. In 2004, he joined D&H Group LLP and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Vancouver.

As a senior manager, Simon primarily provides accounting, assurance, tax and business advisory services to small to medium sized private and public companies. He also works with non-profit and First Nation organizations. Simon has completed the CICA Income Tax Practice course and CICA indepth GAAP course(Parts I, II, and III).
